Trust the process

Trust the process.
It’s not just a case of a client makes contact, asking for a product or service and boom there it is ready to send across.

With every client initial contact is made to establish exactly what is required & any initial suggestions. Then planning, research and idea mapping (if necessary) takes place. Planning is an important step, not only for idea creation but also to make sure you are hitting the time targets to get the project finished on time.

Although the client may know what they want, many are still open to ideas that they may have not thought of. So, there is scope for putting your own ideas into place with projects that are design based, such as logo creation.

Mind-mapping is a great way of getting ideas down and thinking deeper into the topic. Write down literally anything that comes to mind, however obscure they may be. You never know what ideas it may trigger. But it is also important to understand that this process shouldn’t just take a few minutes or hours – sleep on it, you will always have fresh ideas in your down time.

Once you have clear ideas in place, consulted with the client & they are happy – or you have made adaptions you need to really finalise your work.

Present finished product or service to your client.
